The new par for RIVAL blasters . . .
The RIVAL Perses is without a doubt one of the most outstanding Nerf blasters released to date, full stop. Read on more to find out why. In 2017 Hasbro changed the paradigm for its already high-performance RIVAL series with the Nemesis, a hopper-fed monster that boasted top-of-the-line performance at 100 feet per second (FPS) or higher power, incredible 100+ round capacity and the ease of a top-loading hopper (as opposed to earlier attempts using various forms of magazines). This combined with the above average RIVAL accuracy and an impressive rate of fire to make a fearsome blaster that all but invalidated much of the earlier RIVAL offerings. In addition, the Nemesis introduced a rechargeable battery pack (sold separately) that not only increased performance but reduced carry weight and cost to operate by eliminating heavy traditional batteries. With 2019's RIVAL Perses, much of the benefits of the prior Nemesis have been carried over, with a few additional advantages at some acceptable drawbacks. Of the former, the Perses offers both reduced weight and bulk compared to the Nemesis, having both a smaller profile and lighter overall build. It also comes stock with a unique rechargeable battery pack, making the Perses a much better value proposition than the Nemesis. All of this comes at little to no reduction in performance, with the primary drawback being the halved capacity (100 rounds in the Nemesis' hopper versus the Perses' 50). It's worth noting that the Perses is not only lighter than its predecessor but is also a very comfortable blaster to hold, as well. The ergonomic design is something of a bullpup configuration but some may find the thumbhole stock annoying (I personally like it). Loading is as simple as the Nemesis; just slide back the hopper feed door and drop in as many rounds as you like. The feed is a bit more narrow than the Nemesis' massive 100-round hopper, but with practice the Perses is just as easy to reload as its big brother. Once again, Hasbro has shifted the paradigm with the Perses, creating a blaster that does pretty much everything a blaster enthusiast could want, albeit in a notably expensive package. Still, this is a fantastic inclusion to the RIVAL line and will be the benchmark for Nerf blasters going forward.

excellent firepower in a compact package
i play a lot of games with Nerf RIVAL blasters, and this one is easily the best on the market for most situations. it's easy to use in every way, and it's very powerful with an excellent fire rate. single-shot accuracy is decent, but accuracy will drop somewhat when it's fired in sustained bursts. it tends to burn through it's 50 round hopper fairly quickly, so it's advisable to carry spare ammo into battle even if you consider yourself to be very good at conserving ammo. the blaster, like most others, also has a tendency to jam up in very humid outdoor weather. so, to summarize, it's an excellent blaster in every way other than the ammo consumption and the jamming when it's humid out. i would absolutely recommend it if you're serious about getting into Nerf RIVAL wars.

Impressive range!
Does everything it says it does - has an impressive and consistent firing range, with no jamming which is great. The only thing I would say is if you point it down sometimes it randomly shoots/misfires a ball. Other than that, itโs fantastic and by far the best Nerf gun Iโve ever owned!

Fun blaster that unloads a ridiculous amount of ammo in a short time
This gun is pretty fun to use. It shoots fast and hard, and like other Rival blasters, itโs definitely made for older kids. Itโs fairly bulky, but not heavy, so handling it is pretty easy. PROS: -Shoots super fast -Not too heavy for its size -Accurate. I unloaded the entire hopper and didnโt have any wander more than an inch or so CONS; -Loud. The flywheels winding up would let anyone know youโre coming. It shoots fast enough that this likely wouldnโt matter though. -A little bulky, might be hard for smaller kids to handle

Well thought out design that fires "stupid fast".
Firing this blaster is literally like using a fire hose. At least for around 5 seconds, and then you run out of ammo. It would be nice if it had a single shot and burst fire mode for when you want to conserve ammunition, but that's not what this blaster is about. The design is generally minimalist, slender and with a relatively small hopper (only 50 rounds) for ammo, it's well balanced and easy to use around corners or from behind cover. It comes with a proprietary battery and hence cannot use the standard sizes. Negatives include some occasional feed problems from the hopper (enough to be an annoyance), limited ammo capacity and expense which places it at (or near) the top of the nerf blaster line. It seems like the feed problems could have been alleviated with a better hopper design, or some additional motorized agitators inside the hopper to keep the balls moving forward toward the conveyor belt.

This thing is AWESOME.
For a stock rival full auto Nerf, this is great! I haven't had and feed problems or jams and the included rechargeable battery pack is nice. It is a little cumbersome for smaller kids, but they do still enjoy unloading 50 rival balls in a few seconds. If you are a Nerf nerd, it is a no brainer to buy this if there is a sale. If you have the means, I highly recommend getting one - it is quite choice.

The Most Fun You Can Have Fro Under $100
Stop thinking about it and just buy this gun! This thing is so much fun and the rate of fire is not exaggerated when the battery is fully charged. Do yourself a favor and buy extra ammo, you're gonna need it as the hell you unleash with this thing sends balls all over the place. The ducks that wouldn't get out of my pool didn't know what hit em and they haven't come back since.

Hahahahaha Yes!
So my children wouldn't let me shoot their nerf guns, so hopped on Amazon and picked this bad boy up. Oh my the joy of lighting my kids up with this is amazing. Rechargeable battery is great, and saves so much money. On a sidenote the battery really doesn't add much weight to it either, so win there too. Once you get past 25-30 ft the balls tends to start veering off target. Be safe and get the nerf Goggles, all fun and games til someone looses an eye....and this thing up close could probably injure an eye pretty bad. Dad's, if you get the chance get this you won't be disappointed ๐๐

It only shoots 49 bullets not 50 for some reason
The gun is good itโs just that one ball always gets left behind for some reason itโs suppose to shoot 50 but it only shoots 49 and the last one always gets stuck

Super fast !!!!!!!!!!
It's packaging was not the best but the gun works great. Its super fast. It is way more powerful than I expected. And this set up is because the rounds fly all over the place. For sur the best nerf blaster despite the big competition of against my 30 nerf guns.

Best that Nerf has put out in years
Shoots really hard and far. Rechargeable battery makes things much easier. Would not recommend for younger kids. Great fun for adults too.
