It really depends on what you wear it with. I think this necklace would look great with just about anything. I love it, and I wear it pretty frequently, though nobody could ever mistake my style for goth or punk emo or anything similarly dark. The lengths of the chains have worked with just about every neckline I've tried. They sit it just the right places.I haven't had any trouble with tarnishing, but I don't have sensitive skin, so I can't really answer that question for you. I will say, though, that the finish they put on this necklace to give it that antique look (for lack of a better term) made two of the links in my chain stick together. One of them is permanently stuck out at a weird angle. I could probably fix this with a pair of pliers, but I haven't bothered. It isn't noticeable. I bought this same necklace for my sister-in-law and her clasp was very sticky and hard to open at first because of the finish on it. So I wish I'd known that a small giveaway was going to be on the packaging.When I opened the box the product was already broken. The small pendant that had a dragon on it was lying in the bottom of the bag and the ring that attaches it to the chain was not intact. Luckily, it was an easy fix and I just replaced the ring, put the pendant back on and sealed the package like it had never been opened.
