Good buy. Love the green Warm white is nicer for indoor use.
Love the green and love the 4 warm white l.e.d.'s . Camping green not "job site" Makita teal. Camping warm white and not "job site" bright. Simple, on/off switch with no modes. Works perfectly. A perfect accessory for the older Makita 18V batteries. My Makita 18V re-chargeable batteries from 2008 still work perfectly with this. The prices for this fluctuate. I got mine @ $40. $60 is still a great deal.

Great use for Makita batteries.
When many of your power tools are battery powered Makita, it’s a no-brainer to have flashlights powered by same. The light quality far surpasses heavy 4 D battery flashlights.

Good Light, Good Deal
Love my Makita tools, so this was a no-brainer. Don't have to worry about having a charged flashlight around, because my Makati batteries hold their charge, and the tools are always on the job. Like the pistol grip and adjustable head, comfortable and bright, all at a low price.

Solid work light not top of the line, but reliable.
I’ve been using the Makita DML815 for a few months now, and while it’s not the brightest or most advanced flashlight in Makita’s lineup, it definitely holds its own. The 12 position pivoting head is super handy when you need to angle the beam just right. Build quality is what you’d expect from Makita—sturdy, lightweight, and comfortable to hold thanks to the rubberized grip. Battery life is excellent too, especially with a 5.0Ah LXT battery. I’ve used it during electrical work, in crawl spaces, and for general garage projects, and it hasn’t let me down. If you’re looking for a high-powered spotlight, this isn’t it. But if you want a dependable, compact light that integrates seamlessly with your existing Makita tools, this one does the job without fuss.

Small and bright
I have, of course, dropped this a couple times already and it works and looks like nothing happened. I’d say that’s the biggest thing that sets one flashlight apart from another. It works very well for lighting up a specific spot. It’s also lighter than I expected with a 4ah battery and that makes it easy to hold around the handle or around the base. The multiple angles that the light can be aimed in allows it to be put in multiple places. Even the included hook allows the light to be hung from multiple places and lighted up a specific screw when I was changing my car’s air filter. The downside of that strap is it keeps getting stuck on tables when I put the light down and pick it up later. This will see its most regular use as a reading light when I’m sitting on the couch.

Super Handy Light!
I lost one of these that came with a kit and missed it so badly that I bought a replacement. This is a super handy light!

Bright enough and a good value
its not the brightest and almost a more natural light but it will light up a dark area well and its very energy efficient on the batteries.

Perfect form factor for working under my car. Works great as a spotlight, but without being too bright (most of the lights I have are useless as they are too strong and just end up being blinded by reflected light)... this is slightly less powerful with a hint of yellow tinge, but very very visible. The head adjusts to almost 180 fore/aft. Given it has an LXT battery on the base it stands well, and its not too bulky. I was trying to see inside something when lying under the car and I could easily position it so my hands were free to do work. It also has a hanger hook/loop which is useful. Id prefer that to be a bit stiffer otherwise it just spins around but I guess OK for hanging up for a bit of general lighting. For the price... this is a bargain well designed work light if you already have makita battery/charger.

Very good product

Parfait, plus de problème de pile ou de batterie introuvable. La lampe qui fonctionne avec les batteries makita éclaire très bien et l'autonomie est énorme, supérieure à 24h. (dépend de la capacité de la batterie utilisée).
