That is why the price is high. **Q: Why is the actual color different from the picture? The actual product is orange where the picture shows yellow.** A: My husband has been using this for years. The color is a dark yellow that can almost pass as a deep orange towrards the bottom of the bottle. The picture might not have represented the product very well. Now it’s $300, so I left the “value” part of this review blank for obvious reasons-it’s basically priceless, and the value is determined by the consumer...in any case the bright orange liquid is EXTREMELY potent. I got 10+ hours on my skin, and it evolved nicely. When I first bought it I thought to myself “damn this is strong” but every time I put it on I am reminded what cologne is supposed to be. It indeed has the Halston vibe, where one senses that it could nicely cover up the stink of a weekend long bender, cigarettes, sex and sleeping in your clothes. If I woke up in a gutter, this is what I would use to “do the job.” Perhaps this is my only uncorrupted Harry Fremont scent...this is KFC the way the Colonel originally intended. The only scent that comes close to this in my collection is Xeryus LPM by Givenchy, yet this doesn’t nauseate when sprayed at the same power levels. I pity the fool what didn’t buy a bottle of this when it was in reach.
