A techie friend told me I could get a better picture with a 27Gbps cable and they were right. The colours on my 4K OLED TV are now more vivid which has made for a much better viewing experience.Once out of the packaging this cable looks and feels expensive and appears to be of extremely high quality. It is slightly heavier than my old cable because it’s made out of metal instead of plastic, but I like this because it gives me the impression it’s going to last longer. The chrome is a really nice touch too and is easily polished to a high mirror shine.The cable has a black cotton braid which feels soft to the touch and looks quite elegant which I like.When I look at the display properties on my computer I can immediately see a performance increase between this 27Gbps cable and my old 18Gbps cable which must be why the picture is noticeably better. This cable still achieves the 4K resolution at 60Hz, but it has increased the bit depth from 10 bit to 12 bit, and the colour format has also increased from YCbCr420 to YCbCr422.
