Dump dinners have traditionally involved placing the ingredients in a casserole dish and then breaking them in the oven. However, this cookbook provides dump dinner recipes that can be prepared in the crock pot or slow cooker this means that once all of the necessary ingredients are prepared. They can be placed in the cooker which is then allowed to work its magic over 6 to 8 hours. So that by the time you finally make it home after a hard day of work, there will be a hot nutritious meal waiting for you and/or your family.The recipes in this book are delicious (at least the ones I've tried so far, which include the macaroni and cheese and chicken and rice medley. However, I am intrigued by the several different crock pot lasagna recipes in this particular book and I can't wait to try them all the recipes are written in a straightforward and easy to understand manner, which makes preparation and absolute breeze. I am 100% satisfied with this book, and I plan on trying all the different recipes for sure. So if like me, you lead a rather active life. And don't always have time to prepare a nutritious meal from scratch every evening. Then why not give dump dinners or try and give leftovers a second chance. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars More Complex Than "Dump" Recipes *by C***M on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on August 2, 2015* This looks like a nice little cookbook, but my understanding of a "dump dinner" follows the "dump cake" definition, which is "no more than 5 simple ingredients dumped into a single cooking container and left to cook", making it super simple. There are a handful of simple recipes, but for the most part, these recipes are more complex than that, with numerous ingredients and several steps.
