Revised - been ion place for over a year and still working well. Easy to install. I can't believe how far away this remote works. Very pleased with that. I would say 100 yards away and it is on the other side of a concrete block wall. It operates slowly so I still have to wait a bit to enter but that is ok. I had a re-opening safety beam sensor that did not work and the mfr gladly and quickly sent another one. It is powerful. I added a spring to each end because my gate is not light and I wanted a little give on the start. I used porch swing springs for that. It gives just a little when the motor starts which I think is better overall for the parts involved.

It works well but the sensor isn’t connected yet as the connection is a bit complicated. So for now it can’t sense when something is still in the gateway to stop the gate from closing

Would not recommend this to my worst enemies after it broke 4 times the chain rusted within a month and every time I try to get help they have three Chinese women and none of them know anything about the product they always say look at the product instructions which are worthless End you need to get in touch with them they're in China they take 12 hours to get back to you if you're lucky sometimes they take a week and they have an attitude so don't waste your time or your money make sure the product is an American based company it doesn't matter if it's made somewhere else just as long as the people for the service are legit speak English and here in America.

I'm giving this 5 stars only because it does work, BUT it is a very lightweight unit! I almost returned it when I opened the box cause it was so small! It needs a very strong base built from concrete like shown in pics, if u dont have the ability to do this step do NOT buy cause it will pull out of the ground! Price was low for what it is compared to others out there so I figured I would try it. The instructions are very Vague! U just have to figure things out as u go. I probably will NOT buy this again but it does work so far! I waited to do this review after it was installed and working for a few days. This is a very time consuming process

Packaging was excellent. You receive more then enough hardware to do the job on any type fence that I can see. Installation was fairly easy for me, but instructions could use some work. If you have installed a gate opener before then it will go off without a hinge. Trouble tree could be better written. All in all, great machine for the money. Its been working for a month or so now in the rain, cold (down to 29) and fog. Summer heat will probably be the real test. Stay tuned.

Great value

The gate opener failed to roll back the gate after 1 month of installation. I have 2 units, so moved the sensor parts to this unit, but it didn't fix. I adjusted the force, but it still didn't fix. Later. the other unit also encounter the same problem. There is no customer service to claim the warranty. Totally wasted.
