I had purchased one of the best selling posture support bands off of Amazon and did not find it to be beneficial because it only supported your shoulders, not your spine. I saw this and decided to give it a try because of its structure. I love how it's designed and have found that it really does help support my back and align my spine and shoulders. I found it to get pretty uncomfortable after just a few hours and I'm not really sure it straghtens my back that much.My wife who wears a posture corrector regularly tells me I have to get used to it by wearing it a short time every day and that the goal of the posture corrector is to remind me to fix my posture, not to actually hold my back in place like a brace.If that is true and this is what you are looking for then this is the product for you. It's very high quality and the straps are made of a comfortable material. However, because the straps are wide (which is why I purchased it) it tends to rub the area that is just before the underarm, which is not comfortable.
