McDavid Knee Brace, Knee Support & Compression for Knee Stability, Patella Tendon Support

It was for my husband and it fit very good and give him the support he needed.Very good product.

I was experiencing a lot of soreness in my left knee after running on a treadmill. I've had problems with my knee for years, MRI, physical therapy, etc. (no surgery). This brace has the perfect amount of compression and support for my needs. It's not too bulky, it's very reasonably priced, and it's flexible enough not to impede my stride while running/jogging. I'm 5'2" and about 120 lbs., and the size chart is accurate. I measured 15.5 around my kneecap and debated between ordering the Medium (14"-15") and the Large (15"-17"). I ended up going with the Large, and it fits perfectly. The velcro straps seem fine; I know other reviewers have complained that they don't hold up. I'll have to wait and see on that, as I've only had the brace for a little over a week. But--no more soreness in my knee!

First thing the picture is an old one. The one that arrived is the current version. It works very well. I can tell the difference when wearing it. Apparently my knee cap is not tracking properly. Previously tore my quad muscle. Of course I ignored the instructions to only wear for a couple hours and wore it to work for 8 hours the first day. No adverse effects. I followed the fit instructions on McDavid's web site. For me it is a perfect fit. The reason for only 4 stars is the comfort. The only complaint I have is due to the great quality of the brace using thicker material seems to bind up in the back of my knee. The material is thick and soft, but it bunches up when bending a lot. NOTE: This might be where following the instructions could be beneficial. If only worn for a couple hours you might not notice it. I live in reality where it is needed and beneficial to have on for longer periods. So it's a trade off. If you could get this kind of support with a thinner or open back type design it would be perfect.

Original order was too small. The quality was so much better than expected, I ordered two as I sized up for my husband. These will loosen up a tiny bit after wear and wash, but 15” really is an XL. My husband is very pleased with support for his training.

Good support

Brace fits well and works great, but one of the metal braces ripped through fabric after two months which is past the replacement period. I use it about 4-5 times a week, so take that for what it’s worth.

This brace is great. The stabilizers on both sides of the knee work awesome. The brace doesn’t allow for complete range of motion in the knee joint, but my problem was my knee “locking” when fully bent.

I injured my knee about a year ago, and have been rehabbing since. This brace provides the extra support I need to be able to play tennis and golf. It’s flexible enough that it doesn’t hinder movement. Overall very comfortable. Adjustable straps allow me to apply more or less compression depending on the activity.

Great leg support very comfortable and very supportive. I wear it all day and forget that I'm wearing it. It works wonders for my torn mcl. I have tried lots of different types of support but none of them compares to this one

Muy buena calidad, excelente soporte, pense que pudiera estar apretada pero el juego de basket la sentí muy comoda, no se movio de su lugar como normalmente ocurre con otras marcas. Deben de poner mucha atencion con la talla.
