There was no pain, but after 20 minutes I checked. The stuff was strong enough to burn some skin off my toe. I cleaned off the stuff and stuck a plaster on. I found I could walk, bathe etc normally, so I waited a few days for the toe to heal. After a few days I was able to peel off the hard skin.
