All Pepped Up Pepper Jones, Book 2 By: Ali Dean Narrated by: Stacey Glemboski Ali Dean delivers more Pepper Jones’ greatness in this second book of her series. I am loving and thoroughly enjoying this series. It is well written with interesting storylines that are completely engrossing, once you start the book you do not want to put it down. The characters are well developed and continue to grow and evolve. Pepper Jones broke things off with Ryan at the end of the 1st book and she is finally where she belongs with Jace. The two are a force to be reckoned with. Wes and Jace are on good terms and they share some info with Pepper that leaves her with mixed feelings. Pepper has some inner struggles of her own, insecurities about running and staying on top. And then there are the outside forces in the form of the mean girls who try to stir up trouble for Jace and Pepper’s relationship. Ali Dean does a great job capturing teenage angst and H.S drama. I loved how Jace handled himself and some of the challenges, mainly Mad-Evil. I also love how Pepper manages to find her inner strength in both her racing and her self confidence in her personal life. I can not recommend this book and series enough, great for any age, young adult and up. Ali Dean, thank you for another great heartfelt story I am looking forward to what comes next for these great characters. I listened to the Audible edition, Stacey Glemboski is a wonderful narrator and voice performer. She continues to bring these characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality and a whole lot of heart. I love her take on these characters, she makes them sound as real as Ali Dean wrote them to be. Stacey is a talented and entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. To say I have been anxious to get my hands on this book would be a HUGE understatement! The moment Pepped Up ended I needed to know where Pepper and Jace's relationship was headed. And thank goodness the wait wasn't too long! I love their relationship and how intense and protective Jace is of her. **DO NOT READ REVIEW IF YOU HAVEN'T READ BOOK 1, PEPPED UP** "It's only ever been you. No matter what other girls say, you're all that matters. It's always been like that. I'm gonna keep trying to show you." Pepper Jones has everything she has ever wanted, and it should be perfect right? Not quite. Being Jace Wilder's girlfriend is not easy. The girls from his past are always trying to step in and cause more problems for them. But there is also other unexpected complications, that catch Pepper completely by surprise. She had no idea the secrets that were being kept from her. "I should let you go," he whispers. "But I don't think I can do that." Unlike the first book, this time Pepper is the one who is struggling to find the answers. She has to learn to get over her jealousy and learn to trust Jace and their relationship. And also dealing with running, and her lack of enthusiasm in competing. She has always loved running, it frees her and clears her mind, and it still does. But does she want to continue to compete? Or has she changed too much and lost her love for it? "I'm not just an imposter. I've proven that I have the courage to race like I own the track." I loved seeing how much Jace truly loves Pepper! It was beautiful to see and watch them interact with each other. Along the way they have to learn to trust each other (he is so cute when he's jealous though) and their love for each other. But we also get to see them both grow as individuals and learn who they are. Fighting to stay together and not let anyone or any secret break the strong bond that they have always had. "You" - I point at his chest - "big bad Jace Wilder. Were afraid of losing me" _ I point to myself with a huge grin on my face - "little Pepper Jones, the girl next door?" He grabs my finger and pulls me toward him so that I'm almost sitting on his lap. "I'm still scared," he whispers gruffly. Is their love strong enough to survive? Or will it all be too much for them and break them apart? This book is a must read and I can't wait for what is next. I have to say I am hoping (and pleading) that someday Wes gets a story because I LOVE him! For me this book was a lot different than book 1, but still awesome! I love Ali's writing style and how the characters interact and flow so well. Can't wait for more from her!

This book picks right up after Pepped Up. I don't want to include any spoilers, but there is plenty of awesome drama between Jace and Pepper in this book. I really like that this series covers more than just typical high school drama. These characters have a lot going on, can't wait for more

Book two keeps Pepper's story interesting with a few dramatic episodes. I like how Ali Dean writes and am interested in seeing how the story progresses.

I love finding high school romance books that feel like they could happen in my home town.Pep and Jace are some of my favorite characters! Their story is complicated and sweet! I feel like there is so much more to Wes. I am eager to keep reading the series to find out.

Really enjoying this series. Was a little confused on there age group at first Benn a Brit so not all too familiar with the sophomore and senior terms. Great characters and a great story line hope we see more greatness in the next book and maybe a little of Jace's p.o.v

This series is fantastic. The writing is amazing and the author really knows her subject matter. It’s a fabulous story and series, which had me hooked all the way through.

Really enjoying this series so far! The story line is believable and you can't help but like the characters. Looking forward to the next installment.

Book 2/2 so far with this series, loved the drama, love and friendships and the sports aspects of it. Ali Dean, I love your work!

Was a little disappointed with this book as I really enjoyed the first book and it was a large jump from book one to the second book. I think there should have been more of a description of the beginning of the relationship rather than diving straight in to a timeline that showed them three months in. Part of the draw of Pepped Up was in fact the "chase" itself. Still enjoyed it however, but not nearly as much as the first book.
