What would be the size for six chair ?

I would go for the 275cm length. If too long at least you can cut it to size. I would measure the length of your table first.

Can it be used for indoor entertaining?

Yes I don’t see why not. We have it on our kitchen table. Very easy to just wipe down which is a a godsend with small children :-) It’s not like a real fabric tablecloth given that’s it’s wipe clean but we still use it when we have guests round

Is it going to absorb water if left outside under a rainfall

It's made of plastic, it won't absorb water

Things don't slip on it but the quality really isn't as advertised and it doesn't last very long! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
