I read all the negative reviews and I have to disagree. I love this chopper, however, it is small, like some said, but you should know that beforehand. It is for small jobs, if you have a big chopping job, get a bigger chopper. This is great for a quick chopping job. Easy to clean and does everything the advertisement says. It is pretty sturdy, also. I am very happy with my Nutrichopper ... don't let all the negative reviews keep you from buying. For the money, it's great!

I just used the chopper last night and I have to say I'm impressed. I had some rather large button mushrooms to cut and this did great! The cuts were clean, even, and it cut very quickly. I can't wait to use it on carrots or other veggies.

This chopper was easy to use. I like the locking option that it has. I also like the different blades you can use to chop different things. The only thing I wish was that it was bigger. I have to take it apart and empty it to chop a whole onion. So depending on how big your vegetables are you may have to cut them in smaller pieces to get them to fit on the chopper given it's size. I thought it was bigger until it came so I almost sent it back but I like the job that it does over chopping and slicing myself.

IT HAD PROMISE BUT AFTER USING IT SEVERAL TIMES, IT IS OF LIMITED USE. FIRST, ANY FOOD THAT NEEDS SLICING OR DICING, MUST BE CUT UP INTO SMALL PIECES IN ORDER FOR IT TO FIT IN THE CHOPPER WHICH IS VERY SMALL. THAT IS BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH IT IS AS SMALL AS IT IS, IT TAKES STRONG HANDS TO SQUEEZE THE FOOD THROUGH THE BLADES. IN DOING SO, THE FOOD TENDS TO SCATTER. MUCH OF THE TIME, THE USER IS UNABLE TO COMPLETE SLICING OR DICING EVEN WITH TWO HANDS. IT REQUIRES THE USER TO ATTACH THE SUPPLIED CONTAINER TO THE SLICER AND THEN HIT THE TOP OF THE SLICER WITH THE PALM OF THE HAND. HOWEVER, THE CONTAINER IS EXTREMELY HARD TO DETACH AND SOMETIMES WHEN THE USER HAS TO USE ALL HIS OR HER STRENGTH TO DETACH THE CONTAINER, THE CONTENTS OF THE CONTAINER FLY ALL OVER THE PLACE AND MAKE A MESS. ALSO OFTEN WHEN THE SLICING OR DICING IS COMPLETED, IT IS DIFFICULT TO OPEN THE SLICER BACK UP AND OFTEN REQUIRES THE USER TO INSERT A KNIFE BLADE BETWEEN THE JAWS TO PRY IT OPEN. ADDITIONALLY, WHEN SLICING TUBULAR VEGETABLES OR MEAT, IT IS MUCH FASTER TO JUST SLICE IT WITH A KNIFE THAN TO CUT IT UP INTO SMALLER PIECES SO IT WILL FIT IN THE CHOPPER AND THEN INSERT THE PIECES INTO THE CHOPPER TO BE SLICE. ABOUT THE ONLY USEFUL TASKS THE NUTCHOPPER PERFORMS ARE DICING PIECES OF PEPPER AND CUTTING WEDGES OF SMALL TOMATOES. LIKE MOST SOLD ON TV PRODUCTS, IT IS NOT WORTH THE COST.

It chops only very small (diameter) food. It falls apart easily and is not simple to put back together. It worked well on my cucumber that I prepared in workable size. Carrots, no. (Too hard). It does not store compactly. Because the pieces are small and sharp, that is important. I can see that it might be perfect for people needing to prepare many similar fruits/veggies at a time, but that is not me. I gave it away.

My best friend used old one that I borrowd it. It was cracked cuz I didn't know how to do it. I ordered it for him. He used it lot.

It isn't as easy to clean as they say. Onions and tomatoes are the worst to get out. I have to use a sharp knife to dig the pieces out. Other than that, it's a great little copper! I don't use the container, I just hold it over my bowl or pan and let it drop right in. I love it so much, I bought one for my daughter!

Let's be very honest here- This product needs a lot of work. First, the manufacturer promises that this product can slice/wedge whole apples and oranges (TOTALLY FALSE!!!). I had attempted to wedge/slice a small apple and the blades were very incompetent in achieving this action. So, I had to resort back to using my $8 plastic apple slicer/corer that I purchased from Walmart. Secondly, I was able to slice a small orange, which the product was barely fit to do. However, the next day, I had attempted to slice/wedge an even smaller orange and the blade and fruit got jammed. I had to remove the orange by removing the collection container, which by the way, is extremely small and tight. The slice blades are very small and do not have the durability to slice hard fruits and vegetables or citrus fruit as it advertised. Thirdly, the container and assorted slicing trays and containers are super small and not made for 1 serving. I was super excited about making the purchase and enthusiastically awaited delivery, thinking it would take a lot of time out of my prep work... only to be let down and made to feel like a fool for falling for the marketing trick. I am going to return this item as it's not worth the money to purchase. What a huge disappointment.

It was easy to use, and it cut veg nice

Works well with things like hard boiled egg. Dices well but not recommended on tomatoes. The surface is not very wide. You’ll have to cut most food items into smaller portions in order to fit them. The concept is ok for quick use and storage.

To weak to slice most veggies

Product would be more useful if it was bigger. I wouldn’t recommend to buy this unless you need this for more smaller items such as shallots and garlic. It fits a quarter of an onion at most.
