2016's "California" was, in my opinion, blink's best album ever - I was absolutely floored, especially after such a long hiatus. I heard about "NINE" a couple days after it was released and immediately checked it out. I feel like this is more of a return to their old days; not a copy-paste of previous albums, by any means, but while everything on it is 100% blink, nothing particularly stands out. Bottom-line: If you like old-school blink-182, it's a safe bet that you'll enjoy NINE. It's nothing to rave over, but a solid effort.

Everyone keeps bad mouthing the new Blink, but I honestly feel this is the best Blink album so far. For me there is everything Blink-182 did before this album, and now everything after. The people in love with Tom DeLonge need to move on. He's classic Blink, this is new Blink.

What else? It's great. I love it. If you love blink, you'll love this. Reminds of a lot of older Blink with a new spin on some of it and more mature themes. They age well with my aging self. :)

Overall satisfied with purchase

What gets me about this album in particular is how two or three tracks, like Darkside, Really Wish I Hated You and No Heart to Speak Of remind me a lot of being with my ex.... or my ex leaving me, as the case may be.

Wenn man sich davon löst, ein Album zu erwarten, wie es Mark, Tom und Travis gemacht hätten und völlig „wertfrei“ dran geht ist das ein echt gut gelungenes Album. Mit davon lösen meine ich, dass Tom DeLonge nunmal eine eigene Klangfarbe hatte und mir persönlich hat die stimmliche Differenz Mark-Tom immer sehr gut gefallen und die fehlt nunmal jetzt. Besonders positiv am Album finde ich aber tatsächlich die Lieder, die Matt Skibba singt. So sind meine Favoriten Darkside und Black Rain. Eröffnet wird das Album mit „First Tine“, welcher für mich ein klassischer „alter“ Blink-Song ist. Von mir eine Kaufempfehlung, sowohl für Anhänger der alten Tage als auch für Neuhörer.

Fan depuis leurs débuts il y a près de 25 ans (!!), le groupe a suivi de nombreuses évolutions musicales. Tom De Longe est parti il y a quelques années maintenant, et le temps de leurs 20 ans est passé. Ce n’est plus le « même » Blink qu’à leur grande époque. Que reste t-il ? Une fois fait abstraction de cela, cet album est sincèrement bourré de bonnes chansons. Un peu polissées certes, mais bonnes. Tous les morceaux sont, au minimum, bons. De l’émotion (Wish i hated you, no heart to..., remember to forget me), du rythme (Dark side, first Time, On some..., Ransom) , de la guitare, bref que du bon. L’album précédent était pas mal, mais celui-ci est clairement au-dessus. Écoutez le, prenez le temps de l’apprécier. Franchement, il est ÉNORME
