I can turn the light on via my mirror. It holds its memory when the power shuts off. I have it hooked up to the parking lights & comes on when the auto lights kicks in. ***The only weak link is the D-ring that holds the carabiner. Not a big deal I thought. Went out on the first night ride, and 2 hours in, they quit working. Discovered the fuse I had installed had blown. Put a new one in, it blew right away. Got home and pulled the whole wiring assembly out and bench tested. Discovered that the solder connections at the y union in the harness were touching. The connections had just been covered in silicone, with nothing to prevent the connections from touching.
