Trash Talker Basketball Strapless Clear

Great mouth guard from Shock Doctor. I use this for roller derby. I absolutely love the design of it. It was hard finding a cute design for my mouth guard that was different than what the other ladies have. The fit it nice and I truly feel that my teeth are protected. I will say it is important to follow the instructions to a T. Molding this mouth guard was different than others. You do NOT need to get the water boiling hot as you do with other mouth guards. In fact, you’ll mess up your design if you do. I used too hot of water the first time molding this one and it definitely went super flimsy and messed up the front design. Luckily, I realized my mistake and looked up a “how to video” from shock doctor. I remolded it and it worked fine. I’ll most likely buy another shock doctor mouth guard down the line but feel I still have a lot of life left in this mouth guard. The fit is very snug, it stays in place easily during derby practice. I can talk with the mouth guard in and have no trouble breathing. It’s low profile and I have no issues. It’s a good value for your money.

they are perfect and easy to mold (make sure follow instructions because it help too adjust it). and they fit really well and their easy to talk , by far best mouth guard I ever had for sports

Great mouthguard. Fits well. From other reviews, I chose white, as clear ones have listed not molding to teeth as well. Read and follow all instructions including holding it in mouth for 4mins, and drinking ice cold water after. Warranty is only good if you follow all instructions. I read all the tiny print. It may be helpful to someone else.

Fits like a glove. It’s small but functional. Easy to mold. It’s still not the easiest to talk with when in use. That’s not a requirement for a mouth guard, but it is called the trash talker. My only real complaint is actually a plus. It fits so well (and comfortably) that when I want to remove it, it’s quite difficult because it’s so snug. (Note: case in attached photographs not included)

My daughter has braces, and this mouth guard fits well. She plays soccer and needs to be able to talk to her teammates on the field. The big "braces" mouth guards are just way too bulky for speaking. This one has enough coverage to cover the braces and protect her teeth, but is low profile enough to be comfortable. We were careful to fit it closely in the back, but left the front looser. Its just tight enough to stay in, without getting stuck to her braces. She has to use her hands to remove it, but I'm not afraid of it getting tangled in the brackets. And we can understand her perfectly! It was pretty sensitive to temperature when molding. Our first try, the water was about 5 degrees too cool, and it wasn't soft enough to mold. We tried a 2nd time with the water slightly warmer, and the mouth guard molded very easily. When she was confident in the fit, she swished a few mouthfuls of cold water to "lock" it into shape. Hopefully we won't need to test the effectiveness of the mouth guard this season. 🤞

This didn’t last me one month in jiu-jitsu. Not even getting hit or anything, just rolling. Chewed right through it and it kept cutting my lip. The green part even came off after 3 weeks. Not worth it, spend a little more for a decent one.

My husband plays rugby and loves these mouth guards. The Trash Talker model is the only one he will get now. He has had multiple colors and designs and they hold up very well. The only reason we have gotten several is because sometimes he will lose them at meets. He has had these go through the wash or left in the car on 100 degree summer days and lose a their shape but he has been able to boil and re-fit them without any issues! Durable and great for what he needs them for in a sport where you need to communicate.

This mouthguard is thin enough to not obstruct breathing and fairly easy to mold. Instructions are pretty clear, you don't even have to boil water. Solid choice.

Fitting process took 4 tries to get right. Temperature strip didn't work, didn't report any temperatures over 130 so hard to tell if water was correct temperature. Once fitted, it works great though, easy to talk.

Speedy delivery item met my expectations

While I have very straight teeth, I have very large dentation and full lips which makes buying mouthpieces a struggle in my 35 years of being an MMA student. Most low profile mouthpieces don't fit well against the gums and under my lips at my front teeth to the point of it being painful. This is especially true with the SISU mouthpieces. So I usually have to resort to a larger, "non boil and bite" mouthpieces and finding one that actually works is so damn rare they are more valuable than gold to me. Despite the Sisu like appearance of the front facing plates, it actually fits in my mouth. Amazing.
