If there are tiny bits of dirt or any scratches on the Slidez, then those grooves / dirt will have your full weight on them, and rub along the smooth surface in question. I have seen walls ruined and my kids' slide was ruined by assuming their "frictionless" nature would cause not damage. **Q: What is the difference between standard / court / exercise sliders options seen on this page? is it purely cosmetic? the exercise sliders are -$10.** A: Most of these questions (and answers) don't realize that there are TWO DIFFERENT MODELS: one for carpet (the standard with yellow slick plastic) and another for slick flooring (the court with black foam bottom and gray foam top for grip on shoes).
