I wanted a pair of binoculars for watching wildlife on my property. The 10 power allows nice close up vision and the 42 helps see clearly during dusk. These are light weigh enough that they are easy for me to handle. They are great for my needs and I am very pleased. I also like that they are made at a well know factory in Germany. My research found that some of the other expensive brands are actually all or partly manufactured in China. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfecto *by I***N on Reviewed in Spain on June 15, 2024* Todo bien ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Das tollste Fernglas von Steiner *by F***T on Reviewed in Germany on May 22, 2024* Dieses Glas ist das mittlerweile vierte in meiner "Sammlung" und auch das Beste. Es bietet keinerlei Schwächen sondern ist nahezu perfekt. Die Verarbeitung und das Handling sind sehr gut. Die Bildkontrolle ist sehr einfach. Es besitzt einen erweiterten Fokus Bereich, so dass nur geringe Aktivitäten erforderlich sind um Ziele in verschiedenen Entfernungen scharf zu bekommen. Dies ist besonders nützlich in der Nacht. Da das Glas hervorragende Nachtsicht Eigenschaften aufweisen kann. Hier zieht es gleich mit meinem Steiner Nighthunter. Das Nighthunter ist etwas schwieriger vom Handling, weil man bei stark unterschiedlich weit entfernten Zielen beide Okulare scharf einstellen muss. D. h. man sollte es hauptsächlich für feste Weiten nutzen und diese entsprechend vor der Nutzung einstellen. Dies entfällt beim Xtreme Glas. Hier kann man über das Mittenrad kleinere Korrekturen schnell durchführen. Die Lichtstärke bei Nacht ist sehr gut. Das Bild, das geliefert wird ist scharf und Kontrastreich und lässt aus meiner Sicht keine Wünsch offen. Haptik und Handling sind sehr gut und easy in bei jeder Gelegenheit und in allen Lichtverhältnissen. Die Größe ist noch so, dass man es auch mal zum Wandern mitnehmen kann. Bleibt noch zu erwähnen, dass das Fernglas wetterfest ist, d. h. wasserdicht, Gummi armiert und mit Stickstoff gefüllt.
