I had this blow dryer for 3 years before I dropped the end of the plug and it broke apart, forcing me to buy another one! I trust the Hot Tool brand so I bought it again, despite read a few bad reviews. I like the amount of force the 2000 watts provides to smooth my hair as I wear it straight. I would recommend this product.

I love it!
I've had this very same hair dryer before. It died....I ordered the very same one again! I don't want a lot of attachments. It has an attachment for concentration & diffuser if I want it. It's Ionic, no frizz & can do cool shots!

Awesome!!
The Good: Ionic feature is saving my damaged, brittle hair. Love, love the low heat setting. It’s more ‘cool’ without having to keep your thumb on the cool shot button. Something I’ve been looking for and haven’t found til now. Not especially loud. Has a long cord. Nice color. The Not Great: A bit on the heavy side. Large. But it’s functionality is so good, I can’t get past that stuff.

Excellent value
This hair dryer exceeded my expectations. It has cut my hair drying time almost in half but has done so without excessive heat or any damage to my hair. It has two helpful attachments and is easy to hold and use. This dryer is as good or better than many that are twice the price. I am very pleased with my purchase and would buy it again.

Not SALON Quality
Buyers beware, if you are an avid hairdryer user--- I was looking to replace this hairdryer that I orginally purchased 3 years ago from a high end retail store and it provided the heating options and power I was looking for. This hairdryer is no longer sold in that store and when I found it on The Amazon, I was thrilled. Nevertheless, it is NOT the same SALON STYLE hairdryer. It does not provide the same heating/power options. I have a 2C/3A natural curl and typically replace a good hairdryer every 2-3 years.

Great for Frizzy Hair
For the price, this is a great blow dryer. I have frizzy hair and it makes it very straight.

Love this drier but this is the second one that died on me with reasonable use.
