Great company and very Quiet.Easy to put in.I was a little hesitant to purchase online but now I'm going to do more.
I never put one of these in.This is easy. The Dorman came and fit right in.No need to do anything but jack up the truck a little.I did put it in and notice that after I shut the truck off the new Dorman would slowly leak.I double check this and everything was connected just fine but I could hear it letting air out.I sent an email to the company and they sent me a new one. They had Amazon send me another one.Everypart of the replacement went easy and I sent it back after they did send me a new one. This product is working great and is so quiet.I know things happen and the fact that the company stood behind this product and made it so easy to send back.Five stars in my book.I did not know how quiet it is.My old one you could hear everytime you started it up.When I put this one in you can barely hear it.Love it.Thankyou Dorman and Amazon

Ideal replacement part
Perfect fit on my 2013 Cadillac Escalade ESV. Took about an hour to install and performs exactly as expected. Plenty of videos on YouTube detailing how to install it. No power tools needed. Very quiet operation, if you stand next to it with the key on and engine not running, you can just hear it kick on. Shuts off when the shocks are inflated. Great value compared to buying one from a GM dealer.

Easy installation, perfect replacement for 2010 Escalade.
An excellent replacement for GM vehicles with air suspension systems that require a reliable air supply, with advanced thermal protection, which prevent it from continuously pumping air into a leaky air suspension, that can potentially cause the compressor to burn out from excessive heat, it would be wise to make sure your air shocks does not have a leak before doing this replacement. This compressor does an impressive job of keeping air pressure at optimal levels, which is crucial for maintaining the performance and comfort of your vehicle’s suspension system, compared to OEM compressors, the Dorman 949-099 offers a more cost-effective solution without sacrificing quality or performance, making it an ideal choice for DIYers. It has been running reliably for my air suspensions for over 2 years, it is super quiet, highly reliable and an affordable option for anyone needing a replacement, definitely worth considering.

Easy replacement on 2015 Yukon SLT
I have a 2015 Yukon SLT with the air leveling suspension in the rear. Initially, the shocks failed and were leaking, causing the compressor to run all the time so I disconnected it. I was mistakenly told I had the Magnaride suspension so I held off on replacing the shocks since they were about $900 for the pair. I ended up getting the Luftmeister replacements only to find out I didn't actually have Magnaride when I went to replace them. Still a direct swap though. I plugged the compressor back in and it was shot. Decided to go with this Dorman replacement since it had good reviews and a great price. Simple replacement, took about 30 minutes, including jacking up the truck. Plenty of videos on how to replace it so I won't get into that. But if you don't have a magnetic 13mm socket I'd suggest wedging some paper in the socket when putting on the new nut to make it easier. Would probably be quite frustrating if it kept falling into the frame! Anyway, my truck was loaded up with a few hundred pounds in the back when I did this and was sagging due to the compressor not working. After I replaced it with the Dorman, I had to run out. I started the truck, didn't hear it kick on and thought I had another issue other than the compressor. When I got to my destination I noticed the truck was now level. Turned out it was working but it was so much quieter that I didn't even know it was running. I had to turn on the truck, jump out and stand by the rear bumper to hear it. Direct replacement, great price and much quieter than original. If you need this part get the Dorman. You won't be disappointed!
