(In a good way). So I bought this for uhh... Yea, industrial purposes after having seen one elsewhere that was a bit bigger, more nozzles (32 as opposed to 23), & put out 300k BTU. I did some Hmm'ing, some Haw'ing, and some deliberating after having seen that this one was only 100k BTU -thinking it should be 200k'ish since theres only 9 nozzles of difference and was like... whatever, just try it... if its not 100 proof, send it back.So previously I had bought a variable bayou (the turkey fryer people) high pressure (40 PSI) regulator and was intending to use it on something such as this (If youre like me & have the same reg & this burner, all you need from your favorite/local HIJ is a fitting thats 1/2" NPT on the burner side & 3/8" JIC on the regulator side wrapped with some yellow teflon on the pipe thread side & youre good).Anyways, Ive put the whole thing together & Im ready to test... I pull the 20lb bottle off of my grill, connect it to the high pressure regulator, open up all the valves, turn the adjustment down to the lowest the reg allows while still having a flame & were good... For experimentation purposes Im playing with the adjustment bolt on the regulator, I give it about a 1/4 turn & all of a sudden Ive got flames about a foot tall.
