Hatch Embroidery 2: User Guide

Digitizing software has a huge learning curve and is difficult to learn to use....but this book is really user friendly and walks through allll the steps to making a great product!

Much easier to learn from a book with diagrams than on line. On line you watch videos then try the option. With the book, you read and follow at the same time

I still had/have many questions re: the software, but this book has been a HUGE help. I’m an old broad—and learning software fro YouTube videos alone just doesn’t happen! 😁 Very glad I bought this book!

Well written, easy to find specific subject matter through the table of contents.

The book is what I would call a “supplement” to the online version. I say this because the illustrations are printed in gray-scale and the printing on those menus presented cannot be read easily in some cases. I’ve found that I am going back to the online Guide because the images of the screen menus are in color and easier to read or enlarge, if necessary. I do think it is a good reference to have on-hand.

It is a very clear and helpfull book. Items are easy to find.

I like to have a book instead of look online when I need to learn to know something.

I bought this book so that I did not need to keep looking at a computor screen for instructions which needed 'thinking time', so I think it does satisfy my original intention. But and this is a big but, I think it is way overpriced and believe we should have got a copy when purchasing the software, which was over 1,000.00 GBP when I bought it three years ago. I do not mind that the book is not coloured, which would have cost alot more, as anything I need to see more clearly is on the screen! I just feel cross with Wilcom Hatch for trying to make as much money as they can from the folk who are buying their goods and for something I strongly feel should come with that software in paperback form, still I could always have said no.
