Astemo IGC0007 Ignition Coil

Great price and outstanding quality and works flawlessly.

I used hitachi sensors and hitachi coils and now my car runs incredibly well. Very happy. Misfire gone, check engine light gone. Got them for $25, post tarriff it is now $38. Ouch.

FYI: OEM part. Ignition coils fitted at factory are stamped Hanshin (Hitachi brand). These Astemo (Hitachi) ignition coils fit Nissan Skyline 350GT(JDM) and Infinity G35 with engines VQ35DE. Engines VQ35HR use different Hitachi coils and look different (position of electrical connection and connection to engine block).

My G35 was showing an oil leak at the valve cover gaskets. This requires taking the entire intake system off and while I had it all apart, putting in fresh plugs and coil packs was a good idea. These were a perfect fit and it feels like the car runs with a bit more pep than it did before. The only stumbling point is that the G35 needs six (6) and most sellers only offer them in four-packs.

I had two original coil packs go out in less than a month, and used these for replacements. I only ordered one the first time, and it worked great and fixed my problem. When the second coil original pack burned out less than two weeks, I ordered 5 more of these and replaced the rest of the original coil packs. The original factory coil packs lasted for 170k miles, so no complaints there. I suspect these will last for years to come. I ordered these for a 2006 Infiniti M35 and they were direct factory replacements.

Great OEM parts at big discount compared to buying from Nissan. Installed with new spark plugs on 2004 FX35 (140K miles) at Pepboy’s. No more hesitation and cleared P0304 code. Fantastic buy.

La bobina llego antes de lo esperado. Le quedo perfectamente a mi 350Z, despues de un misfire que genero un codigo 0300 y 0302 pude resolver la falla y el auto ya funciona normal. Como siempre el servicio de Amazon fue excelente e impecable.

I ordered this for my 2003 Infiniti G35 as Hitachi coils are popular on the forums. Lordco wanted $70 and Napa wanted $158 for the same part, so at $45 and then signing up for the Prime promo, it looked like it was worth a try. I ordered it on a Friday afternoon at 4pm, got the part Sunday afternoon, and had the car back on the road. I only got the one coil because the others are working fine, but if I had decided to replace all 6, Lordo wouldn't have been able to do it and Napa would have cost me almost $1000! I like to support local business when I can, but the case is getting harder to make.
