plastic faucet
I didn't realize when ordering this faucet that the faucet itself is plastic. The body seems metal, but the faucet is definitely lightweight plastic. Seems OK, but the retractable part will bounce out if nudged because it is such lightweight plastic. Looks good, and seems to work OK otherwise.

nice but gentle use
I really like this faucet but i admit it feels alittle more delicate than the Delat signature we are replacing. I too will chime in that the plastic is a disappointment. If you use it gently though i hope to have it for a long while. I would not recommend this one for busy households because i fear lots of rough use may not be good for it.

REPLACE RATHER THAN REPAIR
I have had this same faucet since 2008. Only lately,APRIL 2024, it started to drip when the handle was in the middle position. If I set it to the far right or left it stopped the dripping. I was going to replace the cartridge which MOEN sent me for free. I figured that I may cause more problems so I decided that because this faucet lasted these many years that it might be wiser to REPLACE than to REPAIR the faucet. I purchased the same model and it is now installed, by the plumber, and working fine. GREAT PRODUCT BY MOEN

It's OK
Wasn't expecting the nozzle to be plastic, but it works well. I just need to be careful with the nozzle, so that I don't hit it against something and break it.
