I used the USB port for my phone, iPod, and iPad and had no issues charging anything. They charged quickly. The light around the rim is awesome! I've had other car charges that blind you at night with their little blue or red light. This one is bright enough to see but isn't excessively bright. I plugged it in to the new Maxboost car charger and I could hardly believe how quickly it was charging! It started out at 52% and within 10-12 minutes, it was up to 68% and I was using it! I drove another 15 minutes a little while later and it was up to 85%. Very impressed with it. It comes with a USB type C cable but I don’t have many devices that I would charge in the car using that particular cable.
