Unlike our live feeder larvae, compost BSFL are shipped to you in their early larval stage, and are not mature enough for use as animal feed due to their small size. Compost-grade larvae are offered in higher quantities to expedite the BSF effect on composting, leading to a noticeable change in your compost in less time.
