Vehicle Fire Extinguisher Seat Mount

I purchased this H3R Performance mount, extreme duty quick release bracket, and H3R HalGuard Halotron extinguisher to put in my classic Camaro instead of the traditional chemical agent extinguisher. A fire would be devastating enough without causing more extensive damage trying to extinguish it. This mount and extreme duty quick-release bracket are adjustable and can fit just about anywhere. I put it just behind the driver seat. It's out of site and view at shows, and I never have passengers in the back seats so foot space isn't an issue. It's easy to mount and securely holds my extinguisher. The quick-release pin is easy to access and pull. I thankfully haven't needed to use the extinguisher, so can't evaluate how well it works. But it looks good, and provides peace of mind in case I do need it. In my opinion, it's worth the cost.

Great mount that fits BMW X1

I had to drill the unit to fit my rennline q/r mount and H3R. Not a big deal, but something to note.It was a pita to put into the car and the edge of the unit sits on the carpet so I added and edge guard to the thing to prevent long term carpet cutting/damage.Not a bad unit...but pricey for what it is.

This is a cool product, and is good for a variety of different applications. It really is adjustable to fit a bunch of different widths and depths. The parts are well machined and good quality.The ONLY downside to this product is that the hardware supplied is cheap. For my application, I needed to tighten down the hardware tight enough for the extinguisher to be suspended in front of the seat. The bolt heads are approximately the same diameter as the slots cut in the arms. The washers are thin and soft. When I tightened them down, it deformed the washers, pulling them into the slots. I went to the hardware store and bought some grade 8 hardware, and it solved the issue. Very happy with the product.

I ordered this mount for my BMW M4 everything fit perfectly it’s very well-built easy to install the brackets that came with it are very easy to use. Insulation was pretty simple mounting it has a lot of options for different size seats I would buy again if needed

Judging from the parts list, there were several parts missing: lock nuts, washers, etc. Some partially missing, others entirely missing.Contacted H3R, determined that the product came from a reseller, but fixed the issue anyway. 4 days later, got a complete bag of parts, and gummy bears. That's right; I said it: gummy bears.Great company, great product. Putting customers first.
