Be sure you get any dust, dirt, oils, or grease off the wall or, just like tape, they will stick to the adhesive strip and make it less sticky and more likely to come off the wall. When I first tried to hang my spice rack, it fell down within a minute of installation and adding the spices. When I felt the adhesive, I found spots that seemed less sticky and seamed to have dust on them. I used straight isopropyl alcohol on my granite back splash to clean it before hanging my spice rack again and this time, they have been up for 2 months without falling! I did the same thing on my travertine tile inside my shower and use the hooks to hang our Loofas...2 months, even in the shower that sees daily use by two people, in a place that gets wet every time the shower is turned on, they are holding firm!On my walls that had any texture what-so-ever though...they fall right off within hours no matter how light or heavy the load. So the tricks are: super clean the surface and make sure it's smooth! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little workers *by on Reviewed in the United States August 21, 2026* These are the neatest little workers in my house. I have a tiny bathroom and lots of hair "tools". I've gone through a number of ways trying to store them. With these hooks I can hang my tools on the walls. And they hold really well on tile. It's important to consider the weight of what you want to hang and the surface you want to hang onto. I tried them in a room with textured walls, and I had to get heavier duty hooks. On the smooth tile a lightweight hook would hold a hair dryer, but on the textured wall it wouldn't hold an umbrella. Once you've got the right combination you're set. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good *by on Reviewed in the United States June 16, 2026* Good hooks. Adhesive gives out after a couple of years and turns yellow. But only needing to replace these every couple of years isn't too bad ## Frequently Bought Together - Command Medium Clear Wire Toggle Hooks, 6 Hooks and 8 Command Strips, Damage Free Hanging Wall Hangers for Hanging Home Decor, Holds up to 2 lb - Command Small Clear Wire Toggle Hooks, 10 Hooks and 12 Command Strips, Damage Free Hanging Wall Hooks with Adhesive Strips, Adhesive Hooks for Hanging, Organization and Storage, Holds up to 0.5 lb - Command 20 lb XL Heavyweight Picture Hanging Strips 16 Pairs (32 Command Strips), Damage Free Hanging Picture Hangers, Heavy Duty Wall Hanging Strips for Home Decor, White Adhesive Strips --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.id/products/14206566-command-medium-clear-wire-hooks-6-hooks-8-strips](https://www.desertcart.id/products/14206566-command-medium-clear-wire-hooks-6-hooks-8-strips) --- *Product available on Desertcart Indonesia* *Store origin: ID* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
