VASAGLE Tree Bookshelf, 5 Tiers, 20 x 9.8 x 55.7 Inches

This bookshelf is very nice. The dark walnut coloring is as pictured. All pieces, tools and hardware was included, nothing missing. All pieces are clearly labeled, including all screws, etc. It was easy to put together and took about 25 minutes. This included unpacking the box and laying everything out. The instructions are clear and easy to read, just pay attention to which direction your screw holes are facing. There are hands in the pictures showing you exactly what to look for. The shelves are a great size and will hold my books with no problem. Everyrhing functions as it should. Securing to the wall is recommended. The back piece is 2 pieces, it is not one solid piece. That would be my only complaint but I don't see it being a problem. I love this bookshelf and I do recommend. It looks very nice and will hold lots of books (I plan on placing heavy books on the bottom to help prevent the leaning that is described in other reviews). I am pleased with my purchase.

I love this shift. Super sturdy, good quality materials, and was super easy to put together. I did it myself. Not too big or heavy to move around. Worth the money!! Holds lots of books. I have it full but could easily add more.

So having worked in construction for years, I’m just going to give a little insight on this thing. Pay attention to the dots on the back of the panels while constructing. I admittedly messed up the first portion, and had to reassemble those two panels. They are very tiny in the instructions, so it’s easy to go astray. When you get to assembling the back, when it asks you to start assembling the shelves to it, start at the bottom. Pilot the screws in, and leave them flush, but don’t tighten them. After they’re piloted in (you’ve drilled them in a little bit) go back to the bottom, and one by one finish screwing them in until you’re at the top. This method for me at least ensured the shelf was straight. Here’s where this product gets dicey for me, again having worked years in construction. They fasten the base with some really sturdy screws along the back of the shelf, but the spine of the shelf is fastened with what are basically finishing screws, hence the need for the wall fastener. It takes pressure off the base. It’s a good product, but it could be better. Thanks folks!

Was able to put the whole thing together in an hour with the screws and Alan key provided. I messed up a few times in the beginning and had to unscrew, but once you get the hang of the pattern it’s repetitive! I have it sitting on carpet in a corner of the room, and I didn’t have to anchor it to my wall. I put my heaviest books on bottom, lightest on top shelves and it naturally leans back more instead of forward. I would definitely probably use the anchoring kit though in homes with high energy pets or children safety though! It came with everything I needed and nothing was missing! Very tall and gives the room character. Very sturdy and heavy book shelf, will definitely buy again in the future.

Really pleased with this shelf! Everything was packed very securely in the box with really good styrofoam sheets and blocks and cardboard corner protectors. My box was fine but this could have arrived intact even if the box had been a bit banged up. Every piece was perfect, no cracks or chips. The directions and pieces were all easy to find and read/follow. The shelf material is sturdy. The screws were of decent quality and didn’t become stripped the second you screwed them in. All holes were pre-drilled and lined up really nicely. Took about 1/2 an hour to put together alone (37F) with a drill. I put it together not quite all the way tightened like the directions said and then hand tightened with a stubby screwdriver to get everything all the way tight. My only difficulty was that the walnut color ended up being a little darker than I thought, but I decided to keep it anyway since we already have a mix of wood tones. I love the flexibility the shelves have for displaying different sizes of books.

I really like this bookcase... mostly because it is so different. It fits well in the corner of my bedroom.

I really wanted to love this shelf. It's a somewhat unique design, and I've seen them used for game storage that works a bit better than cabinets or a regular book shelf. The downside, though, is that it's a bit tippy. The joints at the bottom where the vertical support meets the base is not as sturdy as it could be, and if it's not on a level surface, like instead it's set up in a carpeted room near the wall, it has a tendency to lean. Eventually I'll probably take a look at the base to see if there's any way to reinforce it, but I'm not sure I'll be buying something like this again.

Design fits the decor style, size is great, not difficult to put together.

Bought this bookshelf as we had too many books. I was satisfied building the shelf as I did not run into any issues and it was straight forward and simple to assemble. The design is simple and clean, not taking up too much space in my living room and would work perfect in any kind of room as a highly accessible bookshelf unit! I would definitely recommend checking out this product, as I have had no issues with the seller, product or shipping and would definitely buy again!

Love the design and appeal of this bookshelf tower. Instructions were clear and I assembled it within an hour. While it looks good, I do question the sturdiness of it as the tower is starting to lean forward ever so slightly with all the books stacked. I do recommend it but just make sure it is secure and do not over stack it with heavy books. An easy solution would be to pin the top to the wall.
