Rolling With It High Density Foam Roller for Physical Therapy

This roller is great for back muscles and leg muscles that are tight or strained. It is a firm roller and you can vary the pressure you put on it when using it on someone to help ease muscle pain. I was worried that it would be too soft to help ease muscle pain, but it is very firm and helped a lot.

Needing something other than a rolled up pillow to do post op leg exercises and going to physical theory they were using a similar roll for two of the exercises, so I started searching. This fit the bill perfectly. It's very sturdy, holding it's shape and a great size. The diameter is the same as what I'm using at PT and length wise it's a perfect fit, allowing both legs (or feet) to rest on it, and easy to store when not in use. I did see several reviews talking about it being too hard, while it is 'hard' I didn't find it uncomfortable either under my ankle or knee. If you already have pain in areas which would be in contact with this, you may want to put something soft over it.

UPDATE: The vendor replaced my roller with another unit. The new one has stayed intake and durable. Perhaps the first one came gouged and I didn't notice it. This is a vendor focused on customer satisfaction and quality. They stand buy their product - would not hesitate to recommend and upgrading rating from 3 to 4 stars. I expected this thing to be better quality than the less expensive foam rollers (like the one my wife has had for ten years and still totally intact ) ... well within 5 days of owning this and very light use I saw this gouge in the material. I have a dedicated work out room with nothing in it other than the floor mats a chair, a stability ball and this. One of their selling point is durability... so I spent more and not sure it was worth it. Makes me wonder if this thing is gonna look like cr*p in 6 months. Anyway, this should not have happened ... not enough of an issue to return it as it's core function still works. But come on. Maybe it came to me this way and I just didn't notice. I can't imagine how it got gouged - it's literally been five days and light use. Anyway, not pleased with the durability and now this gouge is a weak spot to continue further deterioration. The manufacturer seems to be reputable maybe they'll offer a replacement.

Definitely more comfortable to use over the hard foam designs that hurt more than they help. Had to send one of those back and got this, was a good choice.

I like the density of this foam roller - it's a bit stiffer than my other foam roller - I purchased two shorter foam rollers for travel - easier to travel with. Can't travel with the taller foam rollers. Once I get to my destination I will put both of them in my carrying case zip up the carrying case. With them stacked on top of each other, they will make a longer foam roller. They look like the they will last a bit longer than my white foam roller which is made out of different material.

It a very firm roller but perfect for me. If you are new to rolling this is not the best place to start. The product is very good though.

This affords a lot of relief for my daughter who has a back injury, bought as a gift because of the faith we have in it.

Great, has a bit of chemical smell for first few days, but I realized ti was just from the plastic wrapping and it goes away quickly. Good facial Roller!
