Dole Crushed Pineapple in Juice is something that I have been eating every day for many years and I never get tired of it. The current label lists a half cup serving as containing 80 calories, 15 grams of total sugars and 1 gram of protein. There are just three ingredients in the can: pineapple, pineapple juice and citric acid. It is sweet and tasty without any added syrup and a nice addition to both sweet and savory dishes. I have noticed over the years that there is a lack of consistency in how well crushed the pineapple in an individual can is. Some cans have chunkier pieces but most have the well crushed style that I prefer. The size of the pieces may vary but the taste is consistently good. Dole Crushed Pineapple in Juice is a product of Indonesia, packed in a flip top BPA free can and non-GMO. It is absolutely delicious pineapple.

I didn’t realize until after buying a 12 pack that the contents of the can look nothing like the photos on this Amazon page or on the CAN itself. Look, I’m no pineapple expert but I was expecting the small chunks seen on the can photo. What you get is smashed pineapple that looks like oatmeal. There has to be some kind of positive marketing photo that actually shows the product inside because it doesn’t look that bad. 5 stars because this stuff is still really good.

We had a problem with our shipment, but customer service took good care of us. The cans I didn't have to toss out I put in the pantry. I typically use these in pineapple mango smoothies with vanilla Greek yogurt, turmeric and ginger. They are the perfect size for that Just wish it was organic.

My fiancè really loves pineapples 🍍 she puts it in the freezer 1pm to 1 am. Take it out and thaw it out a little and eats it. She literally eats this everyday.

The dole crushed pineapple was wonderful! I need crushed pineapple often in recipes but was finding it harder and harder to find the 8 oz size in the store. We are retired so cooking for 2 is the norm here and 20 oz cans of crushed pineapple are too big. Price per can is about .50 less than the grocery store when they have it.

The 12-pack of CRUSHED pineapple had an unacceptable percentage of pieces of the tough, flavorless, woody pineapple core. I had to remove un-chewable bits from my mouth, which negates much of the enjoyment of the food. This was true of the six cans I have tried out of the 12, and the tough core pieces were detectable not only when eaten plain but also when used in smoothies, frozen yogurt, and gelatin molded salads. Updated 7 weeks later: every can has proved to me of VERY low quality. This is not the same Dole crushed pineapple I used to buy at the grocery, and there is no money savings buying it in bulk when one has to throw out all the woody fibers that accumulate in the mouth in each bite.
