Alpine Corporation Indoor/Outdoor 3-Piece Bistro Set Folding Table and Chairs Patio Seating, Red

This is a very pretty little set. I wanted an inviting portable bistro that can sit on the porch in good weather and crowd into the mud room when it's not so nice out (so the mud can become a "three-seasons" room). It works perfectly for that. It's small and light enough that the kids can move the table and chairs, or fold and stash them, without needing help (kids are 5 and 9). The color is a nice blue that isn't overstated; so it goes well with the muted colors of my older house. It becomes the focal point without being obnoxiously in your view all the time. The chairs are comfortable. The table is sturdy. What's not to love? Well, two small things, that I only mention because this is a review. And neither is serious enough to keep me from buying again; especially since the price for the set is so reasonable. Number one, I'm 6'2" and 225 pounds. I feel like the chairs are strong enough for me....but only just. I sit in them, but I don't think I'd flop down into one after an afternoon of mowing the lawn. It's also on the small side for me. I am among the largest of my friends and family so I don't think this is a concern for most of the others, and so long as I am chatting with a friend or sipping on coffee in the morning, I don't notice. I wouldn't stand on it to put a light bulb in the porch light, or sit on uneven grass with it, and after a while it's just too small so I move to a larger chair. For the price, it's not a complaint or concern; it's an observation only because this is a review and because I am probably larger than the average consumer. The second is even more minor. There are small plastic bumpers that help the folding bits line up. They keep the paint from scratching and so on. This is a good thing. However, I tend to keep things for decades (waste not, want not!) and my engineering brain wonders what will happen when the little plastic bits are worn out, and if that will be in one year or fifty. It's not enough of a concern that I've even bothered to see if they can be found separately from the bistro set, or even enough that I've bothered to take them off and see what happens if they don't exist at all. They aren't structural and I only point it out because this is a review and I tend to think of things as they will exist in a future generation. Aside from those two observations, the point of the review is, unless you're very large or plan to use these as structural components of some sort of patio-furniture lawn-fortress, they're just the thing for the price, because you'll pay a lot more to get a little more, and you won't regret these at all. Mine will probably also serve as an overflow lunch table in the house for the kids; and I expect it will probably end its days in one of their rooms or a playhouse somewhere, because it's not too big for them and it's that nice looking. I might even buy the exact same set to replace it!

I had read other peoples reviews, saying how wonderful this product was, I ordered, and I have to say, they were right! The first thing is, it arrives, not only well packaged and protected, but also assembled!! I was expecting to have to put it together and that is not the case. It comes assembled and the Table and chairs are folded and wrapped individually. Absolutely stunning, a breeze to set up and everybody loves it. You can on the chairs for short periods of time without being uncomfortable, however, a cushion makes it perfect. I absolutely love this product and for the price. I have to say it is probably my all-time favorite Amazon purchase. To the vendor, thank you for bringing this amazing product at such an affordable price. It is very stable, offers high value for money and I have no doubt it will last. I will use mine inside a guest room as well as outside on the veranda. Thank you, absolutely brilliant product.

I just received this today, about 10 minutes ago, unpacked it, and put it out on my porch. After seeing it, I had to rush in and give it a review. YOU HAVE TO BUY THIS! It is so perfect. First, the shipping was very fast, I got it just a couple days after placing my order. The packing was secure, and everything inside was wrapped and padded. Nothing was chipped or damaged. The box came packed with 3 pieces all separately wrapped with plastic and edged with foam. 2 chairs and 1 table. They just open up as they're folding. I ordered the white bistro set as I love a "cottage" or "French" look to my outdoor garden area. I have a very narrow concrete type covered porch in front of our house and this was the perfect size, but it would really be perfect anywhere regardless of how big or small an area you have. And if we move to another house, I'd use it anywhere - the garden, poolside, on a patio, the porch. You could even put this on an apartment balcony. The quality is beautiful. It really is, especially for the price of this 3 piece set. There are leaf cut-outs all on the edge of the table top. The edges of the table are rounded over so there's nothing sharp. The white is a bright white, very clean and fresh. It's such a charming addition to our yard. I'm SO glad I ordered this! I'm going to put a pot of lavender on the table top, with or without a cute table cloth. You could add some pillows to the chairs as well, but I'm going to just leave plain. I've got concrete rabbits and pots of herbs also that I decorate the porch with, so all together I think this table will look amazing with all that! Really, this bistro set is centerpiece worthy for where ever you'd choose to place it. If you're on the fence about ordering it, don't be, it's really a GREAT set!!! So happy with it!

What a score! Reasonably priced at under $100, with no assembly required, this little bistro set is perfect for my small garden. Pros: 1. Color. Vibrant and festive! Very attractive. 2. Comfort. Surprisingly comfortable. The seat has a tiny bit of give that keeps it from feeling hard, and the back support hits at a good place, with a good angle. Table height is good and comfortable. I am 5’6”. 3. Size. Fits in my small garden with room for two people to have a meal. No umbrella hole for stuff to fall through. 4. Portability. Lightweight and easily folded away and stored for our 8 months of deep winter snow. 5. Stability. Solid, despite the low cost. Possible cons: 1. Shipping. There are styrofoam bumpers around the table edges, but they should probably add another layer of cardboard around the package to protect against the inevitable tears that happen when a large metal item is shipped. A little paint was scraped off a chair where the box ripped, and I’ll touch it up with clear coat to prevent rust. Not a big deal. 2. Probably less comfortable for people over 240lbs. 3. Longevity? Time will tell. Probably depends how you treat it and if you remember to take it in out of the snow.

This is really an adorable bistro set . There was no assembly required (major plus) ! It looks great and the price was insanely reasonable . It is perfect for my balcony!

I recently moved into a lovely old Craftsman home with a beautiful porch out front. I wanted a small bistro set for sitting out there. Was checking craigslist, OfferUp but not finding anything locally. When I saw this was only $84 I decided to order it instead. I LOVE it! It arrived ready to use. There's NO assembly required! You just slide the table and chairs out of the box, remove the packing materials and unfold - that's it! The colour is gorgeous as is the cut out leaf decorations on the table top and chairs. The chairs are nice and sturdy and comfortable to sit on. The table top is wide enough to eat at, to put a laptop or in my case, to put my tabletop easel and paint. I also love the fact that since everything folds up in Winter I can just fold tchese back up and put them in my garage. All in all a really great set for a really good price. Get one! So glad I did!

This bistro set is as charming as it appears on the site. HOWEVER! The measurements are waaaay off, so beware! The chair seat is 15”W not 17”W. The depth is 13.75” not 18”! The table top is 23” in diameter, not a spacious 30+! These deficits are very significant, not only in comfort but in trying to buy thin chair pads which it probably wouldn’t need otherwise. So far I’ll have to “make something work” for pads. The seats truly are child size as is the table. Forget putting more than your coffee or cocktail glass on the table. I had opened the box & set up w/o thinking to measure until a friend sat down & commented on how tiny the seat is making it very uncomfortable. I no longer have the box to return this set and it’s not the first time I’ve been fooled by listed measurements. I give 5 stars for appearance & good crafting but 0 stars for the sizing bait & switch. I’m so disappointed.
