Works good, I have not tested all of the functions yet but continuity and BJT Beata work well. Enunciator is loud, which I like, it can be heard over all types of background noiZes. Pomona knock-off leads seem pretty good. Selector switch & detent feel better than most far east produced devices. Packed with just about everything that an engineer or technician would need. My new everyday go-to DMM.

This instrument is with out doubt worth ever cent they are selling for, I always read reviews on things to see what others have found either good or bad, Of course there are always some person that would complain no matter what and in this case I did read one that after using what they call junk, makes a guy like myself shake there head thinking wow what is this person talking about. The Long and short of this is in my view no way you can go wrong with this instrument for the price and quality.

I asked the vendor if this meter came with a thermocouple. He said yes. Instead, it shows up with banana/clamp probe. I didn't need those! I wanted a meter that reads HFE. I have only got it to read one transistor. New, old, nothing works in it now. Those are the big issues for me. The 15 minute timer isn't adjustable, it shuts off wether you want it to or not. And the backlight doesn't stay on long enough for me either. Outside of those items, the accuracy and functionality are very good.

Besides the basic features, it has those features that not every digital multimeter has: capacitance, frequency(Hz%), NCV, transistor(hFE), infrared remote test, temperature, backlight, flashlight, auto power off, battery level, protective sleeve, etc. The meter feels substantial: it is bigger than most of the digital multimeters. It comes with quality test leads, alligator clips, and a couple of ceramic fuses. It is well worth the money.

I will probably never be able to use all of the functionality this device has to offer but it's built very well and I'm extremely satisfied with the purchase. I bought it for some basic troubleshooting in the classic car restoration arena. I would recommend this to a friend.

Seems to work for volts and ohms. AC amps is weird. beeps and shows random numbers - sometimes and sometimes not. The diode check does not show voltage, rather resistance which is somewhat meaningless.
