Review: Great Sleeves - Feel very comfy and slick. - I just got these in the mail yesterday, and was using them today when I was playing basketball. They feel very comfortable and it feels much better when I'm going up for a jump shot. Today it was especially useful, because there was a 3-point contest at my school, and I wore these, and scored a decent 11 points (no money balls :/) When you go up for a jump shot, your arm feels a lot smoother and when you release the ball forward, there isn't such an awkward feeling in your joints. Everything seemed to flow nicely. Another nice feature about this sleeve, is that there are elastic bands at the top and bottom to secure them, so that they don't slide down your arm when you're using them. It's also very simple to get them on, because there is a little indicator on the compressing gray band that shows you where the sleeve should be exactly. The only thing I dont really like about these sleeves, is that they get dirty easily. I know this is fairly obvious, but becuase its white, food and dirt become a lot more visible when you're playing. The simple solution would be just to wash it, but doing this too much will result in a fading of color and design. So if this really is going to bother you, I would reccomend getting the black one. Overall I would reccomend these sleeves, even if you're just a high school student (like me) and you want to get a kick out of looking slick on the court. If you're above high school, they have benefits in terms of preventing injurys and things. They also cover up tatoos and scratches that you don't want other people to see. I opted for a Large since I didn't want it too tight, and I'm very happy with the results. It was tight at first, but as I worked with it and played some baseball with it on, it loosened up and fits really comfortably now. At first though it was tight and I got a few bruises from the fit, but now it's all good. I used it for some more elbow support and of course my muscles on my throwing arm and I can say it helped a lot. My arm and elbow don't get as fatigued and lasts longer. The seams too feel/look very durable. I work out and my arms are just a tad above "normal" in girth and size, and this holds up well. I was iffy when I read some reviews about some ripping really easily, and this has held up. Probably have used it 5 times at about 2hrs in length actively.
