I work in a computer lab at a school and was wondering if this was sturdy enough to withstand use by K-8th graders. Also would it fit K-8th graders?

This is well made. I bought for my 2 children 1 is in Kindergarten the other in 1st grade. It fits them both fine (we had to put on the velcro strap supplied to make it smaller to fit the kindergartener. These also fit my head fine as well so I'm sure it would fit an 8th grade. They seem sturdy. They have not had any problems with them. They fold up nice and have a little carrying bag
