This is what I want to buy.My question is in the 2 pack, do I get only 19.7 ft or 39.4 ft of lights?

Two strings of 19' each with a separate battery pack and remote control.

What kind of batteries do you use?

I have the white light, rope light, which is battery powered. It takes 3 AA batteries. My 1.2v rechargeable batteries work in it, but it might be meant to have 1.5v batteries used in it. On the 1.2v, 2800mah batteries (x3), I was able to run it for 5 days straight. The 6th day, it was much more dim. On the 7th day, (apparently in keeping with as God would command), the batteries needed rest and I plugged them in for a recharge.

How does the remote work because I tried using the remote but it didn’t work

Hi make sure you’re in the on position on the battery pack and then turn them off with remote. You do have to be close to use the remote. Once you turn them off, you should be able to use the remote for on snd off and changing the different light changes.

Is this worth the purchase? Or spend money on something with better quality?

Totally worth it. I ended up buying 4. I have a string in my livingroom window around my plants for a soft night time ambiance, a string in my bedroom and I bring the others camping to light up our walkway. There are multiple light settings and they take very little battery power
