Tapping surface is wooden and rigid
The tapping surface is wooden, so not a true tambourine. Plus side is that it’s quieter, but I would personally recommend an actual instrument, as the sound and texture will be more satisfying to baby.

I was on the fence about purchasing this one because it was a little more expensive than other cheaper options on Amazon. But I’m glad I got this one. So far the product looks to be good quality. It sounds like a tambourine but not annoying. Hope my daughter likes it
