Woot woot!
It blocks air pressure well, but lets a clear sound through! A great filter, you get your money's worth! The only thing I don't like about the construction is that you can unscrew the mount and the filter for easier packing, if you want. This is awesome, but it's also a double-edged sword. Sometimes, when I'm trying to bend the filter towards the right direction, it can unscrew. This is easy to fix: just don't twist it in the unscrew direction. Sure, you could fix this by requiring users to physically unscrew or unbolt pieces by adding an extra screw or bolt to hold the pieces in place, but who wants to spend 2m deconstructing their pop filter to compact it for carry when it takes 15s to do it by hand without having to carry a screwdriver around? I find, also, that 2" for me is as close as I can get the pop filter to the microphone (with my lips right up on the filter) without getting air through to the mic capsules. I enunciate big, so this is fantastic, because my p's can be a little extreme, yet I like to be within at least 6" to turn my gain down to keep my guitar from coming through too much. In addition, the plastic and metal haven't worn out in any way, yet, (but don't get too excited, I've only used it as prescribed, I don't know if it will survive tours where things don't end up where they're suppose to), and it's a sturdy little guy whose mesh is very springy, well-made, and can be stroked vigorously with a fingernail for a few minutes and be smooth as... well, as smooth as when I got it in the mail--which is kind of like silk, but more refreshing, like hosiery. The mesh also has a diameter that should capture the puffs of even very large-mouthed, loud singers. I myself am VERY loud sometimes, and it does a great job with a clear, perfectly un-muffled sound (unless you breath a huge amount right up in it, like a vaccum cleaner filter. Then, all you'll get is muffle, because the pop filter will be trying to stop it all). Lastly, speaking of the mic stand mount, it can take a minute to secure, but it does its job. If you need a pop filter, don't be discouraged, this one is well worth my money.

I couldn't be more pleased with it.
So I've started recording YouTube videos which include commentary. I only recorded one video without a pop filter before I decided it is an ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY ITEM if you plan on getting good quality recordings. I haven't had experience with any other pop filters, but I can tell you I've had a great time with this particular one. I want to get to the meat fast in this review, so here we go. This pop filters ability to essentially eliminate all plosives in my recordings has made me very happy, and extremely satisfied. Not only does it work, but it works great! I have yet to notice any nasty plosives in my recordings after using this pop filter. The goose neck on this pop filter seems to be of quality as well, I can fairly easily adjust it, and it stays where I put it. Feels solid. No problems there. The clamp works very well on my mic stand. I screwed it onto my mic arm the day I got it, and I haven't had any problems with it yet, I don't expect to either. It is still very firmly attached to my stand's arm. Although, do be careful when you first screw this onto your stand. If you loosen the clamp before tightening it onto your stand, the round disk around the screw might get caught behind a lip on the clamp itself. If this happens, you'll feel the clamp get harder to tighten, so it should be easy to realize before anything breaks. (I did this, and noticed before anything happened.) Although if you were to put enough pressure on the disk while it was caught behind that lip, it probably would break. Just use common sense when you're screwing it on, and you should be perfectly fine. You probably won't have to move it to a new stand very often, so it's not a big deal. The clamp seems to work well once its attached, I haven't had any problems with it. Once again, just use common sense while clamping it on and it's fine. Overall, I give it a 5 out of 5. It does exactly what it says it'll do, and I couldn't be more pleased with it.

Very good for the price.
It really does work. I have tried numerous devices, mostly foam-like substances, to dampen the P's using my Yeti mike. None worked really well and I always had to do much editing of the audio file to improve the recordings. This simple device actually works nicely at removing the popping P's without elimination of the necessary P sounds. I would recommend this to anyone who needed this type filter. The only problem I had was attaching the filter to my Yeti mike. I understand there is a specific Auphonix filter for this mike. I wish I had that one, as I have to physically hold this filter to use it with the Yeti. I found the best recordings came when the mike was 6 to 8 inches away from my mouth and the filter placed at mid-point.

I Like It - Works Great on a Boom Arm
Right out of the box I felt the quality with this pop filter. The clamp is sturdy and firmly clamps onto a round boom arm. The flexible arm is made of metal and is firm enough that it holds the filter in place where I want it, without gravity droop over time. The double mesh filter feels like high quality material that is put there for a purpose, reducing 'splosive sounds hitting the mic without overly muting the tonal qualities of the voice. I like to use a foam filter along with this as just like the way it sounds with both. For certain applications where I really have a reason to bring out the higher tonal qualities, the foam comes off. This pop filter with a foam filter added sounds amazing to me though. I thought that I would pay just a little bit more to get this filter and the expected quality rather than going ultra-cheap. I am glad I did. It is a step up from the most inexpensive pop filters and I am very happy with this purchase.

Better than I could have ever imagined
This is the first pop filter I have purchased, and it will probably be the only one I ever will purchase because it is far better than described. The goose neck was very sturdy and is able to stay in place even if you swing the pop filter around. It blocks all pops even when you have your face right in front of your microphone, and I have noticed it even helps cancel background noise and prevent your mic from getting overloaded. The clamp is very good, it is easy to tighten and untighten, but it holds the filter in place very well. Cons: None what so ever. Notes: Would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking at pop filters. It has a great price and works better than a filter that costs more.

Auphonix filter is a solid buy
I've had this filter for almost a month not. It has a sold clamp and flexible arm so it is easy to move it away from the microphone or back in front of it when you're doing your final vocal recording. No hassles. It does what it is supposed to do, namely it takes out all the explosive consonants like 'p' and 'b' sounds. I haven't noticed it cutting into my overall sound, but it does kind of "feel" that way since you can feel air blow back at you as you sing...but it's just doing it's job :) A cool product, and fairly inexpensive. p.s. Manufacturers seem to be really big on customer support and satisfaction. I had no problems but suspect they'd get right on it if I called.

Easy to install, decent quality, and double mesh really works!
I had another inexpensive pop filter (single layer of mesh) that was OK, but felt like it muted the sound rather than just catching the air (it almost felt like a spandex material). This filter has much thinner fabric, but I believe the magic is in its two layers of mesh. Installation alone eliminated 99% of the pops while retaining a crisp sound. I find that about 3" away from the microphone with the mouth an additional three inches from the filter generally works best, with the vocalist adjusting distance as needed based on dynamics. I'm sure there is some value in the $100+ options out there, but for my home studio, this perfectly exceeds my needs. Additionally, your purchase gets you a free copy of Auphonix's "Guide to Recording Great Vocals for Podcasts and Music" which gives you some techniques to improve your sound using the filter and beyond and the options for tradeoffs. Definitely a great read!

Great Pop Filter (with only really one complaint)
From a sound quality standpoint, this thing is fantastic. There isn't really much to say about this product really. Paired with my RODE NT-USB, my audio quality is killer (with no pops or anything like that). With that being said my one complaint is that the actual "arm" part of the pop filter seems to be rather weak as it "hunches over" after a period of time and requires me to re adjust it. I am not aware of the overall nature of pop filters, so maybe this is just a gripe that everyone deals with. However if this isn't the case, then I must have just gotten unlucky. This isn't a big enough problem to justify sending the pop filter itself back. Just something that I wish didn't happen.

Gut

Happy with purchase
Loos to be just what I needed. I can't comment on how effective it is as a pop filter as I've not tested it yet, but it looks well made and up to the job. The arm is sturdy and keeps the filter where you put it.

Good product, the clip has a curve which makes it difficult to screw on some surfaces
Please check the clip that is used to screw this thing, it has a curve which can be unfriendly.
