They look lovely! I don’t really use the remote although there is a timer function but I couldn’t figure it out and they come on when it’s dark anyway. There is an option to have them on at 25, 50, 75 or 100% so I have them at 50% so they stay on for longer and the brightness doesn’t seem to be affected that much. Decent lights. The larger than average solar panel provides a very good charge even during the winter months. The remote control range is only about 2 metres but it has some very useful additional features. In addition to on/off controls, the remote allows the brightness to be set for example at 25%, 50% or 75% which permits extended illumination times. We installed them in the garden and they worked perfectly for about 3 weeks and then ceased working. The second set of lights also arrived really fast and they work perfect - they look lovely and bright at night, also an added bonus is that you can select which mode to have the lights, i.e. on permanently, fast flashing or a graduated flash - a remote control is included.
