I could go on and one about why everyone should have a set like this! I personally use them all the time from replacing one from my jeans or a jacket. I also have a side business where I rehab/restore luxury handbags—these are a must in this business! Rivets are the most common pieces that fall off a bag and need replacement. This set is perfect! It has all the right colors and sizes. They’re easy to install and look great. They don’t stand out at all against older pieces.

I haad a brand new belt, only a couple weeks old, where the rivet holding the buckle in place broke. Making a $80 leather belt useless after only using a few times. I don't know if it was bad luck or bad hardware. Determined to not be out that money, I set out to repair the belt. I bought this set because it had various sizes and colors to have on hand for other needs. Picked out the proper size and color I needed and set the rivet in place. I did have a bit of a first time user issue where I didn't get the rivet fully compressed. It failed after the first use, but again, user error not product quality. Second time I got it set properly and it held, but it seemed like it wasn't the most secure. I did notice that another belt I have was double riveted and this one was single riveted. I had just enough room to make another hole. It is now double riveted, feels sturdier and has lasted through multiple uses. I feel confident that I won't have any trouble with this belt until it is worn out and time for new.

Once connected, they hold well and look professional, but the process can take some patience. Recommendation: Good choice for crafters comfortable using additional tools. For easier assembly, be prepared to use a hammer, wrench, or other hardware to get a tight fit.

I bought this rivet set to be used in bag making. I suppose if I was just making bags out of cotton fabric, with little to no weight, they'd work fine, but I use faux leather, vinyl, cork, canvas and these are just not strong enough in most cases. They are fine for accents here and there, but not so much for functionality. They are easy enough to use once you get the hang of it. The amount and variety of rivets you get for the price you pay is "too good to be true." I should have heeded that warning! That said, I think it would make a great set for projects that don't require a strong hold.

I think this is a nice little set but I haven’t used them yet I ordered the wrong thing but kept them any ways
