Smaller size of cookie + tweaked recipe. Still good but different.
Still delicious, as usual, but something must have been tweaked in the recipe as the taste is slightly different, but still good. Alas the new packaging is not user friendly at all and the individual cookies have been reduced in size by the manufacturer... Disguised price increase? Ther acquisition of Lefèvre Utile (LU) by Nabisco was bad news and the result is there to prove it was bad.

I have loved these mild butter cookies since I was a little girl. I am 63 and I am so delighted they are around. Another melt in you mouth LU Cookie!

Broken cookies. As someone said, bad deal to have sold this to current owner. Will NEVER EVER want to hear about this anymore. Just found out there is no return policy. NOT surprise considering all that I said. Schade! as German people would say. Yes shameful!!! No further comments but TOTAL disappointment compared to the "biscuits Petit beurre" LU I was used to.

The cookies were burnt!
These are inexpensive cookies that are sold at a premium price in Amazon. Yet, the cookies were burnt and, therefore, not edible. I suspect these are factory rejects that are being sold here on Amazon. Do not buy!

雑誌 ku:nel (クウネル) 2013年 01月号 [雑誌 ]を読んで、どうしても食べたくなってしまったLU社の４つの耳をもつビスケット。 amazonで見つけられてラッキーです。 LU社の前身は、フランスの古都ナントで1846年創業のパティスリー。 この４つの耳をもつビスケットPETIT BEURREは、1886年に工場生産が始まり、現在に至るまでデザインもサイズも変わっていないとか。 ビスケット一枚一枚にLU社のイニシャルと製品名（PETIT BEURRE）生産地（NANTES）そして24個の小さな穴が型押しされ、周囲は4つの耳と52の刻みが入っています。 24、4、52の数字はそれぞれ24時間、四季、一年の週数を示していて、このビスケットを365日いつでもお側にという意味が込められているそう。 味も外見に劣らず昔懐かしく、素朴で優しい香ばしさです。 油脂類はバターだけなので、サクッとした口当たりが繊細で軽やか。 4つの耳の部分は焼き加減がやや強く、こんがり色づいている所も心憎い。 どうしても耳から食べたくなる衝動にかられます。 ティータイムやコーヒーブレイク、子どものおやつは勿論のこと、 バターを塗って、ワインのおつまみにもお薦めです。 マリービスケットやバターココナッツなど、似たような味も幾つか思い浮かびますが、 PETIT BEURREの繊細さは似て非なるもの。 本当にクセになるおいしさです。
