I’ve been a cyclist for years, and I’ve had my share of flat tires. I was a professional at the "Walk of Shame." But then I bought the Continental 42mm MTB Presta tube. This isn't just an inner tube; it's a superhero. It has conquered thorns, glass, and countless angry-looking rocks without so much as a whisper of a puncture. It holds air like a politician holds a promise, only this one is for real. I now ride with a newfound confidence, a tiny piece of rubber having restored my faith in the world. This tube has brought me more peace of mind than a well-tuned suspension. I am no longer a cyclist; I am a conqueror of trails. Five stars. Don't buy any other tube.

I didn’t know I was buying a tube with a Presta valve. Luckily my new cordless pump has a Presta adapter. But I couldn’t use the pressure indicating cap that fits only on standard Schrader valve.

Super easy to install, there's a mounting ring that let's you attach the valve to the tire which is SO much easier. Ride is nice tho, can't complain.

Well made will buy again

These tubes are specifically for mountain biking (says so on the box) and rated for tires 1.75 to 2.5 inches in diameter (also says so on the box). I weighed them straight out of the box and they are approximately 250 grams. They have a removable presta core so you can fill them with sealant to stop flats. A pair of pliers is plenty to get the core out and you can re-tighten by hand and with the aid of the presta cap. They are great for mountain biking, or for using as a spare if you run a tubeless setup. I live in the stone age so I still use tubes with Slime in them and these work just fine for that purpose.

Kupiłem tę dętkę jako zamiennik do opony Continental i jestem bardzo zadowolony. Montaż przebiegł bez problemów, dętka świetnie weszła, chociaż nie była posypana talkiem fabrycznie. Sam posypałem ją talkiem przed montażem, co poprawiło komfort zakładania. Po zamontowaniu trzyma ciśnienie idealnie, żadnych problemów, nawet przy większym obciążeniu. Na razie sprawuje się doskonale – polecam każdemu, kto szuka niezawodnej dętki.
