50 Yards Polyester Boning for Sewing - Sew-Through Low Density Boning for Corsets, Nursing Caps, Bridal Gowns (6mm, White)

The boning is a good price for all you get..it is super easy to sew through and is sturdy. I use it in making pet products for Guinea Pigs.. but I bet it would be great for stays in a dress. I will be buying more of it soon.

I was shocked to see the project I had already started required 30 yards of boning, but relieved when I found this product was so affordable. It is perfect for the stays I made. It's got a good amount of body but is still flexible. Nearly every square inch of these stays has this boning in it. I simply doubled up on the boning for the back sides to make that a bit stiffer so it wouldn't pucker with the lacing. This may well have been unnecessary as I don't think it would have puckered, but it's thin enough that it didn't bulk up so I did. I did sew through it in a few places and the machine or hand needle went through it easily. I still have plenty left for my next project and would buy this again.

As a newbie sewer, this thing really helps without being overly stiff. It’s just enough stiffness to support the fabric and hold a shape for much easier work. Is it really necessary? Not really. But for someone new to sewing, it helps so much! No more frustration!

This is good for you average fashion corset top, but not a true corset. So don’t waste your money if that is your intended use. Other than that the product does as advertised.

I guess I could wrap my head around the whole “50 yards” part of the description because holy cow this is a lot of material!! I’m not complaining in the slightest, this is a terrific bargain for the price. It’s small and sturdy and doesn’t snap when you bend it. I’m super excited to start using it!

It worked great the my Spirt Elsa from Frozen 2 and I used some for my hoop skirt as a smoother from the med weight wire that I used.

Light weight and added structure. If you’re looking for a whale boning alternative, this isn’t it. This is much more flexible and light weight. I’m happy with it!

if you need boing for a corset then buy it. Theres noting wrong with it. There is a crap ton of it

Really great value! Decided to order this instead of paying the same amount for 1/4 of the product from the local stores near me. Used to sew a dress which required boning, works well and was easy to sew in.
