While it was locked there was a finger size gap where someone could stick anything sturdy in there to pry it open. I liked the padding that it brought and I liked the toughness of the exterior and the handle. First and foremost, it was to be used for a music video. My best friend shoots movies (albeit the straight to video kind you find at Redbox), and also urban music videos. He had a case in mind for a particular music video, until I came across this, which I knew would be perfect. So it served its purpose beautifully, looks in person just like something you'd see in film.The other reason I ordered it was to store some of my Wife's camera equipment. The foam comes perforated in advance. Basically meaning you can remove sections of it as you like, and then fit whatever you want into it. It seems durable enough. And the combination at least will keep an honest person honest, if they happen to see it. We would take it locally, maybe on road trips, though I doubt we would ever fly with it. The style and appearance is so nice and distinct, that someone would assume there was something mysterious or valuable in it (and they'd be right).
