It is less costly at Amazon than anywhere else, some places charging double the price. I learned something I had not known previously also, that is to partially fill the new filter up to the lower threads and leave it set for 2 minutes before installing. Since my filter screws on horizontally, I was skeptical at first but gave it a try. To my surprise not a drop came out from the filter, (although, I was pretty quick getting it started on the thread). I think I will do this procedure on all my oil filter replacements. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good buy. *by T***B on Reviewed in the United States on November 22, 2021* Used for Kohler engines in my lawn tractor and house generator. I have preferred the Kohler brand filters and have used them for years. I have heard rumors of counterfeit filters, but have no evidence of that with these filters. These filters provided correct fit and meet mfg's specs. In addition, I have always preferred the (yellow) extended-life filters. No failures after many, many years of use, although that success is probably more attributable to Kohler's engines rather than the filters alone. Nevertheless, all components work together. To the delivery, the filters were not sealed when delivered. This is a concern due to possible contamination entering into the filter.
