Chapin Sprayer Boom Kit - 7ft. Spray Pattern, Model Number 6428

This boom kit works great and has made spraying my yard much faster and easier compared to using a handheld wand. I've used it several times to treat for fleas and ticks, and it's been very effective with wide, even coverage. One important tip: make sure you mount it at the correct height. When I first installed it, the boom was too low and would hit the tires when slowing down or stopping. This caused it to catch and break off. Thankfully, I had it mounted with zip ties, which acted as a breakaway and prevented damage to the sprayer itself. After adjusting the height, everything has worked flawlessly. This setup eliminates the stop-start motion of wand spraying and lets you cover more ground efficiently. It's a big time-saver for treating larger areas. The spray bar works great for spraying my gravel driveway. I was spending hours spraying it with a pump up hand sprayer before, now it takes only a few minutes and I get total coverage. The packaging could be better, mine arrived with a hole in the end of the box and the two metal mounting pieces were missing but I was able to make a mount using parts for around my shop.

Works well. Houses are plenty long for a 4 wheeler and 15 gal chapin spray/tank. If mounting low, beware the lower section connects the hose with plastic and it will snap if you bump something. Replacing mine with brass.

This boom kit works very well with my mower trailer. I secured it to the trailer with large heavy duty zip ties. When I am finished spraying, I simply cut the zip ties to remove the boom. It sprays in an even pattern that covers approximately 7 1/2 feet. It seems to be very well made. I was able to attach it to my spray tank by removing the threaded end and using a hose clamo to fasten to the nipple on the tank.

Like alot of the other reviews i was also missing parts. The brackets, i got the bolts for it and nozzles but not the brackets, made it work on my general xp bed. Also using it with the little 15gal chapin with the 1.1 pump and it's working flawless. Very Strong spray onto ground and my sxs sits pretty high and ground is soaked with just being on for a few seconds. Hose connected no problem to the pump. I'll probably get a splitter to run them both instead of disconnecting them when I wanna switch back and forth. Not alot pics when I was shopping so wanted to try and give a decent review. Would buy again, 3 star because clearly the company can't figure out to put all the right parts in a box even after all the poor reviews saying "missing parts" or would have been 5 star.

This Chapin ATV Boom Kit is an excellent addition for anyone needing efficient spraying! It was easy to set up on my ATV, and the 7 ft. spray pattern covers a good area quickly. The adjustable height is a huge plus, making it versatile for different tasks. It feels very sturdy with the powder-coated steel frame. Definitely a solid investment for keeping your lawn or fields maintained!

I got one 2 years ago, no problems, ordered one 2 days ago and package was opened with tape only both ends of box. Brackets missing and bolts and nuts also. Returned for replacement, hope next one is brand new.

Got the sprayer boom in it's original packaging, but one end was mildly busted, retaped not by the delivery carrier but after opening the box I found that the two flat bar drop brackets are missing. The boom and hose are fine and the bolt pack with the mounting hardware and extra tips were still in the box. Took a chance after reading other reviews, but was unlucky.

I bought this to mount to a home made trailer and adapt a 15 gallon spot sprayer to use with this sprayer as well. It works fantastic. It comes with 2 different types of nozzles for spray. I was very happy with the way it worked.

I made my own 25 Gal sprayer and this fit a 12v pump perfectly.

Missing both vertical brackets

I bought the Chapin sprayer and the Chapin tank to go with it. Really liked the price but I didn’t like the fact the 2 upright brackets were missing from the box for the sprayer. I received the bolts and nuts to mount it but no brackets. Called Chapin customer service and left a message. Let’s see how this plays out. Update: No response from customer service even though their voicemail says ALL calls returned within one business day. Hopefully you are luckier than myself and if you have issues they will respond to you. I wonder if it has anything to do with this being a U.S. company and I live in Canada perhaps?! Certainly hope there are no issues with the tank.
