Really just found out about it recently. I had been looking for a solution for the funk that was coming from my clothes that were washed regularly and had never smelled bad before until I moved to another state across the country and the water supply has a high mineral content and very hard water. The liquid water softener combined with a sanitizer has completely removed the funk from the clothes, and as it turns out the high mineral content adheres itself to the clothes and prevents the detergent from working. I really like this product. It’s very easy to use and has made a noticeable difference with my laundry. I have hard water in my system, and I’m glad I found this because my clothes come out much cleaner and feel fresher after washing. I’ve had no issues with delivery, and the product arrives in good condition every time I order it. The only drawback is the size. It only comes in a 32 oz bottle, and I wish they offered a larger gallon-size option since I go through it regularly. It’s a simple but very effective product that does exactly what it claims for hard water laundry issues.

This product is a tremendous value. It is a top class rinse agent and works well with powder soap in the dishwasher.

I live with VERY hard n janky, mineralized Well water. This stuff really works. Makes my wash very soft n more colorful. I love this additive.

Have very hard water. My wash looks so much cleaner and live my clothes smelling good. Dint put it directly on clothes. But put it in my detergent dispenser along with less detergent. Love love it

My husband does the laundry in this household , and he loves Calgon. He swears it makes the clothes brighter and the water softer. It's difficult to find in stores in my area. So I was pleased when I found it on Amazon.

I moved to La from portland a few years ago and couldn’t figure out why my gym clothes didn’t smell fresh after i laundered them. I tried all the highly rated sport clothing cleaners (even soaked them overnight) and nothing seemed to work. i was ready to replace all my gear until i came across this rec on reddit. calgon liquid water softener is a godsend. i add it to every load with my bougie detergent and my clothes come out smelling so fresh and feeling so clean. yes it’s expensive. I go through a lot of it, so i buy the three pack so i don’t run out. buy the three pack. use sparingly. you won’t regret it.

This definitively whitens the white laundry, helps not to turn yellowish.

I have hard water at home and have been looking for things to help soften the water for washing and showering. This seems to help, but it's kind of hard for me to tell.
