The filtration pump plug is only long enough to hang down about 18” below the tank so if you didn’t preplan for a dedicated wall outlet near the tank then prepare to use an extension to get power from the nearest outlet. The lighting plug hangs down about 3 feet and the lighting control switch is on the built-in transformer near the plug itself. The directions don’t mention this but to help conceal the 2 power cords drop the cords behind the tank when installing the tank to the wall brackets. Instructions were detailed and clear and installation was not difficult. It comes with a blue background already installed and another one as shown in product picture.
