At some point I may want to add a seco d battery to the system....and this will make it very simple.You will need to purchase an addiyional battery cable to hook it up. I used a short starter cable on my installation. And if you are a first timer working with vehicle batteries....as you will see in many of the other posts......you install this on the ground or BLACK wire side of the battery. ### ⭐⭐ Kills your battery *by C***E on Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2019* I paid a mechanic $120 to install this battery switch. It installed fine, EXCEPT that the wires are not heavy-duty enough so they needed to be replaced. It worked great too, except that I awoke every morning to a dead battery - without having used the switch! I don't know if the problem is the switch itself, or whether it's monkeying with the electrical system, but either way it was a costly lesson.
