Tracking changes in my diet
I thought this kit was great! I have been altering my diet by drinking yoghurt and taking probiotics. I'm buying 2 of these kits so I can see how these changes in my diet effect my microbiome. I'm super excited to see the results!

I tried the kit for the gut. The kit arrived in a timely manner with easy to follow instructions. There was also an extra vile in case there was a problem. So far so good. I followed instructions exactly and mailed in my sample. 6 weeks later and no news, so I e-mailed the company. They promptly answered and said my results were ready and to go on line and check them. (Why had they not informed me before hand?) Then things went down hill from there quickly. First off, if you do not agree to participate in their study and give very much personal information, they they will not read you your results. This was never made clear before I bought the kit! Secondly, when I down loaded the 2 sets of data, they were not readable- neither the raw data nor the taxonomy. In fact, the taxonomy download was pure gibberish. I tried several times but still the same results. I am in contact with the company to either tell me my results or to give a refund.
